I'm Skylae Norelle Johnson, and I've been doing hair for twenty-one years — first in LA, then San Francisco. I trained at the Bumble and bumble Academy in New York and studied under the houses that shaped modern hair: Vidal Sassoon, Oribe, Toni&Guy, Wella, Redken, Paul Mitchell, L'Oréal, Davines, O Way, and the Masters of Balayage.
A few years ago I traded the city for the mountains — for the love of the peaks, the way of life, and the kind of community where your stylist is also your neighbor. Hue Haus is what happened next: a place where everything I learned in twenty-one years of big-city salons meets the warmth of a small mountain town.
